Donna Suzanna Fix, age 79, of Waldron passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born July 22, 1924 in Waldron, Michigan to Frank and Marjorie (Grupp) Bernath. She married Irvin Edward Fix on March 13, 1947 in Angola, Indiana and he preceded her in death on November 1, 1977.

Donna was a life long Waldron area resident. She was employed at Pioneer Transformer for over ten years and graduated from Waldron High School in 1942.

Surviving Donna are three daughters, Barbara (Russell) Ash of Ransom, Michigan, Joann Dunning of Pittsford, Michigan, and Nancy Fix of Waldron; four sons, Michael (Carol) Fix of Waldron, Warren (Debbie) Fix of Waldron, Thomas (Wanda) Fix of Camden, and Scott (Cherrie) Fix of Waldron; 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, and one sister, Verna Bernath, preceded her in death.

Graveside services for Donna Fix will be Friday, July 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Ransom Township with Rev. Robert Myers officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Eagle Funeral Home in Waldron.
