Grace B. Guy, age 101, of Hillsdale, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. She was born in Wright Twp., Michigan on August 24, 1902 to James & Louise (Betzer) Rickard.

Grace was a former telephone operator in Waldron and a former employee of Baumgarden Pants Factory in Hillsdale. She was a member of the Hillsdale Church of the Nazarene.

She was married to Raymond Guy and he preceded her in death in 1959. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Elouise Garrett; a son, Ralph Thompson; several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. She is survived by two grandchildren, Bradley (Kathleen) Stevens and Jeffrey "Randy" Garrett, both of Dayton; two great grandchildren, Douglas (Christine) Stevens of Indianapolis and Kimberly (Tony) Wallace of Franklin, Ohio; one great great grandchild also survives.

Funeral services for Grace Guy will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Interment will follow at the Frontier Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
