Larry D. Hills, age 64, of Speedwell, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at his home. He was born February 19, 1940 in Waldron, Michigan to L.C. and Jessie (Decker) Hills. He married Norma Cole on December 16, 1963 in Hudson, Michigan and she survives.

Larry was a retired tool and die maker, a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of United Auto Workers and attended the Fincastle United Methodist Church. He could fix or repair anything and was well known for helping his neighbors, friends or anyone in need.

Surviving Larry besides his wife, Norma of Speedwell are two children, Karen (Timothy) Brown of Speedwell and Terry (Teresa) Hartman of Waldron; five grandchildren, Tiffianey and Tonya Hartman, Raven, Damion and January Arthur; two sisters, Donna Wright and Carol (Robert) Green all of Fontana, California; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His parents and two brothers, Arnold and Dean Hills, preceded him in death.

Memorial services for Larry will be Monday, January 17, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Fincastle United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Cole officiating. Visitation
will be Monday from 5 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Adrian, Michigan at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fincastle United Methodist Church Building Fund (629 Old Middlesboro Highway, LaFollette, TN 37766).
