Vaughn Keller, age 77, of East Camden Road, Waldron (formerly of Morenci) passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005, at the Hillsdale Community Health Center. He was born on January 16, 1928, in Morenci the son of Rhode & Hattie (Gardiner) Keller. On August 17, 1981, in Adrian he married Mary Lou Mansfield. She preceded him in death on September 6, 2003.

Vaughn lived most of his life in the Morenci area. He worked for the railroad and he was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors include six daughters, Elaine (Tom) Spear of Napoleon, Ohio, Carol Adams of Adrian, Karen Caster of Manitou Beach, Becky (Josh) Hollstein of Morenci, Paula (Dave) Boyd of Waldron and Connie (Bill) Foster of Morenci; two sons, Richard Keller of Napoleon, Ohio and Vaughn (Tosha) Keller II of Fayette, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Mary, Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jean Marie Keller; seven sisters; and five brothers.

There will be a memorial service at the Morenci American Legion on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 5:00 p.m.

Funeral arrangements was through the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci.
