Janet Mae Evers, age 67, of Territorial Road, Waldron, Michigan passed away Thursday, September 22, 2005, at The Toledo Hospital. She was born April 10, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio to Harold and Wilmetta (Beck) Krum. She married Jack Evers on February 7, 1960 in Napoleon, Ohio and he survives.

Janet was a school bus driver for Waldron Area Schools for over 28 years, retiring in 1998. She graduated from Napoleon High School in 1956, was a member of Fayette United Methodist Church, Waldron Garden Club and Waldron School Retirees. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening.

Surviving Janet besides her husband Jack of Waldron is one daughter, Jodi (Jim) Tuinier of Augusta, Michigan; one son Jerry (Diana) Evers of Waldron; three grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle and Courtney; one sister, Beverly Germann of Napoleon, Ohio. Her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Janet will be Sunday, September 25, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Fayette United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Waldron Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette, and Sunday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
