Chelsea Kay-Renee Childers

MORENCI -- Chelsea Kay-Renee Childers, age 12, of Morenci, went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2005.

She was born Nov. 12, 1992, in Adrian, Mich., the daughter of Christopher Ransom and Susan Childers. Chelsea was a seventh grade student at Sand Creek Junior High School. She enjoyed music, dancing, singing, riding four-wheelers and swimming.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by four siblings, Shalimar, Eethan, Halie and Christopher, and a host of loving family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Church of the Nazerene, Adrian, with the Rev. Larry Betz officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgeway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Purse Funeral Home, Adrian. Messages of sympathy and condolences may be offered to the family at www.pursefuneralhome.com .
