Terry L. Rossi
November 3, 1943 – February 17, 2007
Terry L. Rossi was born Nov. 3, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo., and graduated high school in California in 1960. He married Maxine Farnham, a native of the Waldron area, Nov. 26, 1999, in Las Vegas, Calif. His career included substitute teaching in Michigan and Ohio.
Terry Rossi served as a Marine jet pilot during the Vietnam War and rose to the rank of captain. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Masonic Lodge and E. Clampus Vitus. The latter is a fraternal organization dedicated to the study and preservation of the history of California, in particular the history of the Mother Lode and gold mining regions of the state.
Terry Rossi is survived by his wife, Maxine of Waldron; his mother, Genevieve Rossi of California; one daughter, Andrea (Mark) Marshall of California; two sons, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Rossi of Idaho and Billy Rossi of Florida; three grandsons — Billy, Bradley and Tristian; three granddaughters — Teresa, Kailyn and Autumn; one great–grandson, Austin; one great–granddaughter, Brianna; and one brother, Danny (Rachelle) Rossi of California.
At Rossi’s request, his body was donated to University of Michigan Medical School. Local arrangements were entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Waldron.
A private memorial service was held at a later date.
